Friday Photo: The Craven Arms

CRAVEN ARMSToday’s Friday photo is the facade of the Craven Arms public house on Upper Gough Street in the city centre. It was designed by Arthur Edwards around 1906 for the Birmingham brewery Holders Ale, I love the contrast of the gold and blue glazed majolica tiles. The building is grade A locally listed and was recently restored to its former glory by brewery Black Country Ales.
