The Friday Photo – Bordesley Railway Station

DSC_4506

This weeks the Friday Photo is taken at Moor Street End of Bordesley Station which was built on a viaduct and opened in 1855. I found this just by chance whilst walking under the viaduct and then noticed the stairs leading up to the station which still have the original tiles. The station originally had a cattle station, goods yard and passenger station. It is now quite deserted and gives it self to having great view towards Birmingham City Centre.
