Friday Photo: Ebony the Black Lab Paw Print.

Victoria Square was renovated in the early 1990’s.  One of the workmen brought his Black Labrador, Ebony with him, and she used to help out by carrying tools etc. She even had her own high-visibility vest and became a favourite with many visitors and commuters!

To remember her presence on site and contribution to the renovation project, the workman decided to leave a small plaque by the Queen Victoria statue. It reads  –  “On Site – Ebony 1992-93” and contains her paw-print.
