I have volunteered for BCT for several years now, but recently joined the Friday Photo team.  As we have finally reached the day of the launch party for the Newman Brothers  at the Coffin Works,  today’s Friday photo could be non other than the star attraction itself.   I took this photo earlier today and even on this dismal autumnal day, the building looks simply stunning with its beautiful hand painted signage.  The late Joyce Green, the last owner, would be proud of the dedicated team behind the project and thrilled that the Newman Brothers legacy can be passed on to future generations.  This is one very special building with a very special story, offering a fascinating glimpse into Birmingham’s industrial past.
