Friday Photo: Changing Face of Legge Lane

On a stroll around the Jewellery Quarter today I noticed there is scaffolding up along some of the buildings on Legge Lane. In checking the planning portal it appears there are some planning applications received for listed building consent for conversion to apartments, but this is at 3-5 Legge Lane, which is the terracotta building in the background of the picture, (1890’s Former AH Woodward Pen factory). I’m not sure on the decisions on this or if anything is actually being done here yet, but if planning is granted, lets hope it is sympathetic to the original buildings. I note some other applications have been withdrawn or refused here in the recently.
