This week’s Friday Photo is of an autumnal-looking St Paul’s Square. I walk through here every day and love to see it changing with the seasons – autumn is my favourite though.

Designed by Roger Eykyn of Wolverhampton, the building was constructed in 1777, and the church was consecrated in 1779. St Paul’s was known as the church of Birmingham’s early manufacturers and merchants – Matthew Boulton and James Watt, and if you go into the church today you can even spot Boulton’s pew. The square is my favourite thing about the Jewellery Quarter and seeing it change with the seasons is a wonderful sight.
