Stuck for something to do over half-term?
As I’m sure many of you will know, half term is coming up, so The Guardian has thoughtfully released the longlist for their annual Family Friendly Museum Award.
The award is run by Kids in Museums, ‘a visitor-led charity working with museums to make them family-friendly’.
It is also the only major museum award judged by families and the longlist contains some great museums from around the UK, including Birmingham’s own Thinktank. Many of the museums featured have free admission too!
You can find out more about previous winners of the award here and here.
