Friday Photo: Cherry Blossom in Oozells Square

It’s officially spring in Birmingham so what better reason to share the blooming cherry blossom in Oozells Square, just outside the Ikon Gallery, which is landscaped as a Japanese Zen Garden. I look forward to photographing this beautiful sea of pink each year as it takes over the urban skyline, but you have to be quick because it disappears almost as quickly as it appears. Visit before next week to catch the blossom as it bursts into full bloom and watch the pink petals float through the air!
