Friday Photo: Woodlands Park Hall

Today’s Friday photo is of Woodlands Park Hall. The hall was built as part of the Bournville Tenants estate and was opened in November 1909 by George Cadbury. In its early years it was used as a school for younger children.
The Bournville Tenants estate was established as a housing co-operative in 1906, now part of the wider Bournville Village Trust. It includes roughly 145 buildings, constructed on land previously belonging to Middleton Hall Farm. There is further information about Woodlands Park Hall and lots of other great local history information about this area on the Bournville Tenants blog site.
