Friday Photo- Sarehole Mill’s Garden
Located in south Birmingham, Sarehole Mill is a hidden treasure, but its garden is something of a haven, nestled away, next to the Mill Pond. Its dedicated team of volunteers have transformed the space over the past two years into a wonderful space that literally bursts with colour during the summer months. And it’s easy to understand why this place inspired Tolkien during his formative years, so if you get chance, try to visit this year when the garden is in full bloom and you will literally learn the meaning of ‘tranquility’!
